If you contact us via email, phone, post or the newsletter form on our website, we collect relevant information you provide to us, which may include name, email address, phone number and postal address. The legal basis (according to article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) for doing so is our Legitimate Interests – we require this information in order to respond to your enquiry and provide a service.

When you use my website

The Penny Lee website (www.pennylee.co.uk) uses cookies that are stored on your browser.  These cookies collect information about how you use the site, for example which pages you visit, and all user data is anonymous. They only collect data related to your use of this website. The legal basis (according to article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) for doing so is our Legitimate Interests – we require this information to improve our website, product, services and marketing.

Please note that some of these cookies may be placed by third party service providers who perform a function for us. The third party services this site uses is Google Analytics.

When you make a payment

If you pay via BACS we only receive the information the bank uses to identify the payment, such as a name and/or reference number.

Where your data is stored

As with most small businesses, we use Microsoft Office, Google and Zoom software to manage customer records, send emails, manage financial records and conduct coaching. These providers are GDPR compliant.

How long we keep your data

  • We only keep your data for as long as necessary for accounting, legal or reporting reasons.

  • Records will be regularly reviewed to ensure that data is not held longer than necessary.

  • Data that is found to have passed the retention period will be destroyed in a secure manner.

Sharing your Data

  • I will not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

  • I may need to share your personal data with any outsourced support, for my own business, which may include a web developer and accountant. They have limited access to your data, where there is a business need, and only access it using our software.

  • Our support are contracted to strict confidentiality, and may only process data in accordance with my instructions.

Your Rights

Where you have given me consent to process your data you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Penny Lee, Coaching and Consultancy directly via email using the contact details above.
